Hello Lincoln Families,
Fall has finally arrived! The cool mornings and the leaves falling in our neighborhoods finally signal a change in the seasons. Fall brings one of Lincoln’s biggest family events – Fall Fest! Please drop by tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th between 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. for the opportunity to spend time with Lincoln families and pet farm animals, buy pumpkins, and, if you’re brave enough, scare yourself in the Haunted House, This is an event that should not be missed! A big thank you to all volunteers, and PTSA, for making this event possible.
This edition of the Ledger includes many photos of our students’ learning and growing at school. Read about Culture Walks in 1st grade, the amazing Celebrity Crossing Gaurd Walk & Roll morning, and an inspiring presentation attended by our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders from a former Lincoln student. We’ll be sharing more of the “goings on” at Lincoln in each issue of the Ledger.
Finally, the DPS “Your Voice/Tu Voz” Family Survey is open now through Friday, Nov. 1. This survey focuses on measuring district outcomes, and its findings directly impact students and families.
Families can access the survey link here. Make an impact by taking the DPS Your Voice/Tu Voz family survey and let our district leaders hear the voices of Lincoln families.
Enjoy the fall weather, and I hope to see many of you at Fall Fest.
Warmly,
Principal Shelley Dulsky
