We are off to a great start to 2023! It was great to see so many of you on our CSC and PTSA calls this week. Over the course of the next two weeks, I will be working to develop our 2023-24 school budget and will be sharing it with the CSC for feedback on Monday, January 23rd at 5:45pm.
Those who were at the school last year will remember that when DPS released ’22-’23 projections, we were expected to have increased attrition, and consequently, less funding. As we’ve shared, Lincoln not only exceeded the projection, but increased enrollment. This is the result of the hard work and outreach of our students, teachers, staff, and community—all of the things that make Lincoln special, and work that will need to continue in the years to come. I want to be transparent with you all for our budget expenditures and what that might mean for Lincoln and to hear your feedback. All are welcome to join the conversation on the 23rd; I hope to see you there.
