Dear Lincoln Elementary School Community,
Thank you for your continued partnership in the Lincoln Elementary School principal selection process. We are excited to share that Mrs. Gina Landis has been selected as the next principal at Lincoln Elementary. We are confident that Mrs. Landis will be a collaborative, relationship-centered leader who ensures Lincoln remains both academically rigorous and a profoundly joyful environment for every student.
Mrs. Landis believes Lincoln Elementary represents the very best of what a neighborhood school can be—a cherished community where children are deeply known, curiosity is nurtured, and families and educators come together to create something truly special for kids. With more than twenty years in education, she has served in a myriad of roles including literacy specialist, curriculum coordinator, classroom teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, assistant principal, and principal. She has strong expertise in leveraging data-driven instruction and strategic differentiation to ensure every learner receives appropriately rigorous support and intervention.
No matter the role, her north star has always remained the same: a deep love for children, learning, and the transformative power of public education. As Principal of Pioneer Elementary, Mrs. Landis has leveraged collaboration to lead inclusive systems, instructional improvement, and strong community partnerships. She is especially inspired by Lincoln Elementary’s unique identity as both a traditional and Montessori school, where multiple pathways of learning are honored and students are encouraged to grow through curiosity, independence, creativity, and connection. Her vision for Lincoln is to continue nurturing a school community where every child feels seen, challenged, celebrated, and inspired, while honoring the rich traditions, diverse learners, and extraordinary sense of belonging that make Lincoln Elementary such a beloved neighborhood school. We are excited to welcome her to the school community!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who engaged in the selection process and contributed input and feedback. Additionally, we would like to recognize the Lincoln Collaborative School Committee (CSC) for their time, thoughtfulness, and unwavering commitment to the ongoing success of Lincoln. Along with the input you shared early in the initial survey, the CSC used the candidate profile to create interview questions for our candidates that participated in the initial round of interviews.
