Scholastic Book Fair is Almost Here!

Lincoln Elementary's annual Scholastic Book Fair will be on 11/17 (Mon) and 11/18 (Tue), held at the gym from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.  Come shop with us and support your school community!  Also we would like you to consider contributing to various book fair funds

Book Fair Scholarship Fund

Every year many students from the Lincoln community benefit from this need-based scholarships fund.  Teachers and staff confidentially nominate scholarship recipients, and those students are invited to shop at the book fair using the donated funds.  This tradition really shows how caring and thoughtful our school community is!  Just to clarify, although the linked account will say “Ms. Noriyo’s 1st Grade Class”, this fund will actually cover students from all grades.

Classroom Library Funds

Having a good and updated book collection in the classroom is a crucial part of daily learning.  Students use various non-fiction books for their research, and they read picture books and novels for fun and personal growth.  Please help teachers update and upgrade classroom libraries!  Just to clarify, teachers’ accounts will list just one grade level, they will actually cover students from all the grades the teachers teach.
