2 Days Until Laps for Lincoln!

Posted October 5, 2022

Friday, October 7
Donations keep coming in for our annual fun run! Lincoln’s PTSA is happy to report that we are now 54% to our goal of $30,000. We need to raise an additional $13,796 by October 7, 2022!

Students from Ms. Sheela’s class still lead the school in donations raised! The classroom with the highest total will earn a pizza party.

Sincere thanks to all of you who have donated already! It is so meaningful to receive support for Lincoln and our students from so many family and friends, both near and far.

How can parents help?

  • Donate today
  • Share this email with 3-5 family members or friends today
  • Volunteer to help with day-of Laps needs. We currently have three additional volunteers needed across both the morning and afternoon shifts.
  • Come to Lincoln on October 7th to cheer on your child and attend our Laps Afterparty at RATIO Beerworks
  • If you own a local business, sign up to sponsor Laps for Lincoln and receive year-long publicity and tickets to our BASH event in April

Laps for Lincoln Fills a Critical Need

Lincoln Elementary’s PTSA raises critical funds to support our school. Despite being the nation’s 12th richest state, Colorado public schools rank in the bottom half of the nation in per pupil spending and teacher pay. Our children receive $7,634 less per pupil than the national average of $15,114. Click below for a more detailed look at how your contribution directly supports your child’s education and why our tax dollars are insufficient.
