Laps for Lincoln is our school’s annual fun run and our PTSA’s most important fall fundraiser! On Friday, October 7th, all Lincoln students will take turns running on the field with their classes during the school day. We ask that parents support their children by making and facilitating contributions on their behalf.
The Lincoln Elementary’s PTSA raises critical funds to support our school. Despite being the nation’s 12th richest state, Colorado public schools rank in the bottom half of the nation in per pupil spending and teacher pay. Our children receive $7,634 less per pupil than the national average of $15,114.
Last year’s Laps for Lincoln contributions are currently funding one paraprofessional teacher salary, field trips and classroom resources for the entire 2022-23 academic year. Studies consistently show that paraprofessional support in classrooms results in higher student achievement in reading and math.
Our goal this year is $30,000.
If you own a local business, sign up to sponsor Laps for Lincoln and receive year-long publicity and tickets to our BASH event in April
