Lincoln has a lot to celebrate in terms of our academic status! In the 2021-22 school year, 86.3 % of our Kindergarten-3rd grade students were reading on or above grade level. While most schools backslid on the CMAS ELA assessment, Lincoln saw dramatic improvements, with math scores increasing by 19 points and language arts increasing by 6 points. Way to go Lynx!
It is great to see so many of you walking and biking to school every morning. Please continue to use caution crossing our streets by waiting for the crossing guards to motion you through the crosswalk. Drivers: please be extra patient during morning drop off time from 8:00-8:20am as our learners and families are making their way to school.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you this afternoon at our first Collaborative School Committee meeting of the school year. CSC meetings are open to EVERYONE to actively engage in Lincoln’s next phase. Hope to see some new faces!
Best,
Emily Clark, Principal
