Lincoln Ledger

Hey Lincoln Friends & Families,

Happy last week of school to the incredible staff and students at Lincoln! We are proud of all that you have accomplished in the face of many challenges and set-backs this year. As a newly composed PTSA Board, we thought a Ledger-takeover would be the perfect way to introduce ourselves and give families a little peek into what we have been up to this spring as well as a few things to look forward to this fall.

First and foremost: thank you to the incredible humans who dedicated the past 2 years of their lives to the PTSA Board. Joe Flanagan, Rory Salem, Ezra Bowman, Laura Carson and Lynn Jui – we were so impressed by your ability to pivot and reinvent during the last two years. Thank you for your commitment to raising funds to support additional paraprofessional staff for our classrooms and for bringing back so many beloved Lincoln traditions post-pandemic. As volunteers, you have touched the lives of everyone in our community. Thank you to our predecessors who are moving on – Joe, Laura and Lynn – and to those who are continuing on with our new team – Ezra and Rory.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to everyone who gave to Lincoln last year. We are floored by the generosity of our community in giving their time, skills and funds to support the continued legacy of our school. Thank you, Lincoln families, for the many, many ways you have shown up for our school this past year!

As the new PTSA Board, we are excited to engage and communicate with all of you – our incredible community of families and staff. Keep an eye out for a revamped PTSA website, Strategic Plan updates, new after-school offerings and opportunities to get involved. Until we reconvene in August, we wish you all a fun, sunny, safe summer.

Warmly,
the PTSA Board
